TierKing Policy
Content Policy
This page explains what kinds of public rankings and community votes are welcome on TierKing, and what kinds of harmful or unsafe content we may restrict or remove.
Last updated: May 15, 2026
What TierKing Is For
TierKing is built for public rankings, fandom lists, game discussions, pop culture debates, hobby comparisons, and community-friendly polls.
If you publish something publicly on TierKing, it should be safe to share broadly and should not put real people or private groups at risk of humiliation, harassment, or unwanted exposure.
Content We Do Not Welcome
Sexualized, pornographic, or explicit content.
Harassing, abusive, or humiliating rankings aimed at real people.
Rankings that target classmates, teachers, coworkers, local friend groups, private communities, or other real-world bounded groups.
Content that encourages bullying, pile-ons, slurs, hate, or demeaning treatment.
Uploads or descriptions intended mainly to shame, sexualize, or expose identifiable individuals.
How Public Content Is Handled
Some content may be blocked before publication when it clearly crosses safety lines, especially explicit sexual content or obvious abusive targeting.
Some borderline public submissions may remain visible by direct link while being limited from discovery, recommendations, or search while we review them.
Private drafts or private rankings are not treated the same way as public community content, but they still cannot be used to publish clearly harmful material.
Examples of Acceptable Use
Ranking game characters, weapons, maps, teams, albums, movies, snacks, anime arcs, or sports moments.
Community-safe opinion lists about public figures, fictional characters, esports rosters, or widely known media properties.
Polls and tier lists that add context, entertainment, or discussion value without targeting private individuals for ridicule.
Examples Likely To Be Removed
A “hottest girls in my class” tier list.
A ranking of teachers or classmates using insulting or sexual nicknames.
A poll designed to mock a real friend group, dorm, office, club, or neighborhood circle.
A list whose main purpose is humiliation, sexual scoring, or public shaming.
Enforcement
We may limit distribution, remove public access, lock editing, or review content manually when it appears to violate this policy.
Repeated attempts to post harmful public content may lead to stronger moderation actions.
If you believe something was restricted by mistake, contact us and include the page link so we can review it.
