Privacy Policy & Terms of Service

We collect the information you choose to provide, such as account details used for sign-in, profile information, rankings, polls, uploads, and any content you publish or submit to TierKing.

We also collect operational information needed to run the service, such as IP address, browser and device details, request logs, referrer data, and product events tied to actions like page views, shares, votes, publishing flows, and search usage.

Some content state is stored locally in your browser, including drafts, UI preferences, and feature state used to keep the editor working smoothly between page loads. The TierKing mobile app may also keep drafts, normalized images, exports, preferences, and sign-in state on your device.

We use information to operate TierKing, including to:

• authenticate users and keep accounts secure
• save drafts, publish rankings and polls, and serve uploaded media
• measure product usage and reliability so we can improve the service
• rank, moderate, and review public content
• detect abuse, fraud, or policy violations
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies

TierKing uses cookies, local storage, and similar browser storage for necessary site functions such as authentication, editor persistence, saved preferences, and security.

We use PostHog for product analytics and error monitoring and Microsoft Clarity to understand website behavior. Password reset and account deletion confirmation pages do not initialize these tools. The mobile app provides an analytics preference; turning it off prevents optional mobile product analytics, but does not disable necessary authentication, security, or server request logs.

In production, TierKing may display ads through third-party ad providers such as Google AdSense. Those providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies.

We share information only as needed to run the service. This includes providers for infrastructure and object storage, Resend for transactional account email, PostHog and Microsoft Clarity for analytics and reliability, moderation services, and Google AdSense for advertising where enabled. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Public rankings, polls, profile information, and other content you intentionally publish may be visible to other users, search engines, and third-party platforms.

You can control many cookies through your browser settings, and you can clear local storage from your browser at any time. Doing so may remove saved drafts, login state, and other convenience features.

You can request permanent account deletion from the TierKing mobile app. We send a one-time confirmation link to the account email address, and deletion occurs only after you confirm on the website. You can also contact contact@tierking.com for help.

Confirmed deletion removes the account, active sessions, linked sign-in accounts, account-created rankings, polls and votes, associated feedback and moderation data, and database references to its server-side uploads. During deletion, we make one attempt to remove uploads that are no longer referenced by other content; shared uploads are retained, and an infrastructure failure may require later manual cleanup. Drafts, images, and exports stored only on your device are not removed automatically; you can remove those through your device or app storage settings.

Deletion applies to active product systems. Limited copies may remain temporarily in disaster-recovery backups or restricted security and legal records until the applicable operational retention period ends, or longer when preservation is required by law.

By using TierKing, you agree not to misuse the service, interfere with normal site operation, or upload content that is illegal, infringing, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise violates our policies.

You remain responsible for the content you create or publish and for making sure you have the rights needed to upload images, text, and other materials.

We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend features, or restrict accounts when necessary to protect users, enforce policy, or comply with legal requirements.

TierKing is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

We may update this page from time to time as the product, vendors, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
